Delete your data
The short version. Roost has no account and no server, so there is nothing to request and nobody to wait for. Your records exist in exactly one place, your phone, and you can delete any of them, or all of them, yourself, immediately.
Delete a single record
Open the record (a medicine, a reading, a document, an appointment) and delete it from its own screen. It is removed from the encrypted database on the spot. There is no copy anywhere else.
Delete a whole profile
Deleting a family member's profile removes that person and everything recorded for them: medicines, schedules, history, documents and reminders.
Delete everything
Uninstall the app. Android removes Roost's encrypted database and its document vault together with it. Roost keeps automatic cloud backup switched off, so no copy of your records sits in Google's backup service either.
Backups you made yourself
If you exported a backup file (.fhtb), it lives wherever you
put it: your Downloads folder, a cloud drive, a memory card. Deleting it
there removes the last copy. Backup files are encrypted with the passphrase
you chose, so even a forgotten copy is unreadable without it.
Why there is no deletion request form
Data deletion forms exist so companies can find and erase your data on their servers. Roost has no servers, no account and collects nothing, so there is no copy of your data for us to find. Deleting it on your phone is the whole job.
